For one reason and another, April was something of a disappointment. Perhaps because (in the UK at least *waves to those reading this in sunnier climes. Could you possibly send us some of that sunshine?*) the weather could best be described as Novemberish.

Said weather was an excellent excuse to light a fire and gorge Hugh Laurie’s impeccable adaptation…
