A Prescription to...keep teens reading
Can you - should you - make a reluctant teen read? And what manner of book might persuade them to do so.
As I type, my daughter is perched on the kitchen windowsill. Plaits (reverse French plaits - a style currently in vogue which her mother finds curiously challenging) fall either side of her intent little face. She is adorably oblivious, lost in a book. (As she was above: on holiday last summer, when she ran out of books.)
